Asked to identify programs you'd cut, aside from national defense, you came up with a paltry $8 billion. Anyone who really cares about the deficit would automatically cut the bloated Ed budget, foreign aid, EPA, legislative pensions, NEA, public broadcasting, AIDS research, Americorps, Amtrack, US Geological Survey, Labor Dept, postal service, etc. etc. without even hesitating. Until those things are cut, we taxpayers want our taxes lowered and lowered and lowered again.
