I fail to see how that article would convince John Doe in UK or Australia or France or Germany to change their view point.

Or, the US administration is holding the UN accountable for it's ineffectiveness, indecision and inaction. Let's have leadership that doesn't annoy anyone, let's be nice to everyone, let's not tell the incompetents that they are incompetent.

Please explain who or what at the UN is guilty of the charges above?

Is it Kofi Anan?
Negroponte..Well there I can see some issues.

Is it the building at 42nd Street/

TO me, I thought the United Nations was really an extension of the United States. You know they both have the same first name. And with the headquarters in NY. And don't we pay for most of everything one way or the other?

Who or what is this that must change/do/go/ etc?

We could sort things out if President Bush makes the UN a Cabinet Department. Department of Foreign Affairs. Yeah, that works.
