"HE IS OBEDIENT ONLY TO EXTERNAL! AUTHORITY : INTERNAL CONTROLS ARE LACKING."

Cuts to the chase.

I saw a story last night about Candid Camera setting up a phoney luggage detection in an airport (3 months before 9-11) and asking people to physically lay on top of the tread and be pulled through the X-Ray machine. The guy hurt himself (actually he's a being a baby about it) and wants mucho bucks in a settlement. People were actually willing to go through an X-Ray machine in an airport!

I've had airport security personel scream at me. It was in 1992 and I had lost my watch and made the mistake of throwing an old-style alarm clock in my coat pocket. Apparently I had been waved through the gate and they came looking for me or something. No, "Sir, we need to check something out...we apologize for the interruption..." Just screaming at me--for what I didn't know. I finally had to ask what is it do you want me to do?

When government ceases to say to its own citizens "Please" and "Thank You" then you know gov has too much power.
