Just read that article by Thom Calandra, "War is market plus, pease is not." He expect us to attack this weekend while the moon is not out. Says war will be good for techs like ORCL that provides the Navy with it's database.

Yea, my DELL Car runs better at lower prices<ggg>, but then hits resistance at higher prices. So, if she can;t break thru resistance, my car is probably not going to be strong enough to stay with the lead pack. My best hope is if the market tanks, possible DELL and CSCO dont tank as much as others....but right now, things are subdued in the pit area. But, still alot of miles to race, so.......

Hey, anybody have an opinion of DUK ( Duke Power ). Fortune 100 company, very nice EPS, very nice low PE, currently trading right at it's 52 week low. I remember saying is he broke below $20, I would grab some. I didnt due to the fact it looked like it had further to fall due to market conditions. But now here, near it's 52 week low in the $13's, I am finding it hard to resist. I think I may grab just a tad, here in the mid $13's, but be prepared to buy more if she drops to $5 - $8. Opinions anyone? Buying for the long term, not a trade. She has treated long term holders very well over a long period of time, so I am planning to hold her thru the ups and downs over the next 20 years. Anybody follow DUK or have any opinions. $13 looks awfully cheap for a beginning entry point, as long as I have dry powder to buy more if it tanks due to war or whatever. Foolish or smart?
