Sorry for the delayed response...but to answer your question I must say that although I may believe in the PPT I do not believe that in the long run, that artificial intervention can rescue the market, hence my stubborn short.

Unnatural actions will ultimately prove to be futile and the forces of nature (the market is a product of nature, if you'd like to start another philosophical discussion)will overcome those forces and resolve themselves inspite of the efforts of the PPT or any other group that believes they can control the market.

Remember the commercial "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature" well IMO this holds true in the case of the market as well.
