Dance and rejoice, frolic in the streets, only USA continues on the path of pure 2-party systems.

Without getting into how campaign finance and voting participation, representation, long
time frustration caused even UK to try to find another domestic solution, at the present
officially banned from public debate. (earlier only through selfcensorship and selfignorance)

the rest of the world is waiting and watching..

Ilmarinen

Cannot but remember when some UK parliement EU-memeber got really emotional and cried out
loudly that even Russia beats UK hands down in democracy... (and now they cannot say that again,
instant loss of position)

Have to agree. When I see the level of interest in politics in Europe vs the US, I believe their system allows for a wider range of opinions. The 2 party system forces us into one camp or another.

If you don't like one of the two major parties, you can vote for one of the other parties.

There are no restrictions on the number of political parties in America. It just happens that only two of them are big.
