And I'm referring to the facts that known Palestinian terrorists who have been responsible for killing American citizens (as well as citizens from dozens of other countries) have been permitted to stay in Baghdad..

Al Qaeda links may, or may not, be more concrete.. We won't know until we're able to find documentation, if it exists, that shows such an arrangement.. And such documentation would be highly classified by all sides since it would involve "sources and methods"..

But since you're unable to refute the fact that known terrorists have been permitted to possess sanctuary in Baghdad, thus displaying Saddam's support for such terrorist groups, I'll accept your silent admission that you have been shown to be incorrect with regard to the facts.

And the odds are that if we ever manage to get ahold of the files of Iraqi intelligence, there will be more than enough evidence to support Saddam's support, real and spiritual, of terrorism. After all, we certainly found that to be the case with the USSR, who used terrorist groups as "proxies" to fight the west.

a camp, which was rather disclosed as being not in the area controlled by Saddam but in the north, controlled by the Kurds

Actually that section is controlled by Ansar itself. Ansar recently assassinated the commander of one of the Kurdish militia groups. The assassins pretended to be defectors from Ansar.
