AG to speak today and tomorrow...market will be down next 2 days...

Speaking of Fed Chairman Greenspan, he will be up on Capitol Hill at 9:30
a.m. EST to testify before the Senate Banking Committee on the Federal Deposit
Insurance System.

If this hearing goes as they usually do, Mr. Greenspan won't be asked about
anything other then the Federal Deposit Insurance System. None of the senators
will ask the Fed chief about the apparent loss of heart among U.S. consumers or
about the effect on the economy of approaching war.

It makes perfect sense to me.

They, the

PPT

know that markets need to decline, but don't want them to drop precipitously. So they step in - easy, EASY! - and cushion the blow with selective, strategic buying.

Which raises another question - and I do appreciate all the knowledge being so selflessly imparted here: when does the

PPT

sell what they've bought?

Is evidence of their selling rallies that exhaust and reverse to losses intraday?
