I actually probably agree more with Brian than Jeaneane Garofalo on the subject, but the reason Brian "defeated" her had nothing to do with the quality of his or her arguments; rather, he began to talk over her and not let her complete her sentences, and I was surprised that she refrained from letting out a big "F*ck you", because that's what I would've done. >I thought it was funny last night on Hannity and Colmes that Colmes interviewed Daschle on video alone b/c he wouldn't come on with Hannity. I can sort of understand it; Hannity has the habit of doing the same thing- at times, he won't let the people he disagrees with get a word in edgewise. The only facts you all recognize are those that support your side of the argument. Anything else, like cost-of-war-projections based on past wars, is pure, over the fence gossip to you guys. In any case, everyone knows this war won't cost us anything 'cause God is on our side! ;~)) If you don't think he'd do well, you must not think much of his arguments <g>. Look, Daschle is from the Dakotas.......no matter his commitment nor the quality of his arguments, you don't put a Chihuahua in with a pit bull.
