My reservist BroInLaw was called to active duty a year and a half ago. Had his term lengthened 3 times so far. There is a limit to what we can decently ask of our civilian soldiers.

Your statement makes no sense to me at all. The only way delay in and of itself will cause more casualties is in possible training accidents. But overall training should lead to fewer combat casualties.

But to the side that has orders of magnitude more intel, locating and rating all the key targets means far more disruption when the attack begins. Isolated uncoordinated groups soldiers are fish in a barrel.

If you ever coached youth soccer or youth racing a performance yacht, you would understand the fog of war effect. America has fog vision goggles. Iraqi's have sand in their eyes or industrial strength lasers.
