It is well known that Saddam's son, Uday, has murdered many people, uses his position as head of the Olympic Committee to torture participants who don't come up to his standards. He is allowed to roam Baghdad night clubs freely choosing women that he rapes and some times kills.
So, I would say that NOT invading will also cause the deaths of civilians.

As for showing aggression to other countries. He did, 12 years ago, and part of the deal was that he was supposed to disarm. So, based on your statement "If he showed aggression against another country, then the international community would be justified to fight Iraq." we ARE justified in going to war to force him to keep his deal which he has avoided for so long. If we don't, then we may as well disband the U.N., because it will have become totally irrelevant to dealing with real problems in the world.

Anyway, Saddam will disarm or we will invade. That's the right thing to do, IMO. It's unfortunate that Saddam has so little regard for his own people that he will allow innocent civilians to be killed to satisfy his lust for power.
