Bull. Mere slop and lies. Al Qaeda is a supporter of Theocracy (religious dictatorship). They are opposed to Democracy, Socialism, Monarchy, and any other form of government that doesn't give religion the reins of power over the people. You are living in some kind of a blindered past. excellent post dvdw.... i have basically drawn the line in the sand vis a vis war against terror as the civilized v. the uncivilized... however i would amend that now and include the civilized world against the uncivilized repressive regimes AND their enablers. france and germany certainly fit into that category. and i think they will rue the day for years to come having taken a stance of appeasement. of course they are still democracies....we can always hope the people will support regime change....but i have my doubts....more about france, less about germany.
