Within our borders.

Embassies ARE sovereign territory and the attacking the military anywhere should be considered an attack on the country.

Karen, Paul is entirely correct. Those attacks were and are American sovereign territory.... Hawaii and Alaska aren't "within our borders" either, but they are States of the USA.

THe problem was in the years where the other bombings occurred, ALL of us, AND our Government, considered these bombings to be "criminal" rather than "terrorist based war"....

For instance....the young kid who took a small plane and rammed it into the side of a tall building about a year ago. Very fortunately, there were no other people in the building. He killed himself. It was a "criminal" activity, as no other terrorist based organization taught him how to do that.

The difference is what their leaders (WHO trained AND FUNDED these people) have said. They have said, both in writing, and in person:
Death to America.

What part of that do we NOT hear?
