Hi ya Gramps !
When trying to understand the essence of the scripture , wouldn't it always be a good place to start by listening to the words of the Master , and not his interpreters? It is obviously clear here , that if it weren't for "religion" and the constant jousting matches of such "noble knights" , cries of hereticism , and militancy of belief , God's Kingdom could be very well at hand , and not some distant final -day-of-judgment ?
