Note this particular comment regarding the "ISM Top 30" award:ISM has named Firstwave's eCRM Suite as one of the Top 30 CRM Applications for 2003. ISM, a premier CRM research, market analysis and consulting firm, selected Firstwave Technologies after evaluating every leading software package on the market . Wow. That's really pushing the envelope. They evaluated EVERY leading software package on the market? Only 33 companies even applied for the award in 2002. It's not even certain that they evaluated all of the ones that applied. The good news is that FSTW is no longer stretching the truth about the "Product of the Year" award, like the way it came across in the announcement PR:Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC™)’s Customer Inter@ction Solutions® magazine, named Firstwave eCRM as [a] Product of the Year winner for 2002. And, of course ... the famous "Denali Group" (a group consisting of one person) award:"Firstwave eCRM is one of the few products I have reviewed that provides the extensive customization required to meet the needs of an ever changing business environment without sacrificing the ease of use needed to get sales people to actually use the system. These awards are given to vendors whose products are proven, shipped solutions that can be installed quickly to get the job done—no hype or vaporware here," said Bohn. "Firstwave, with its Web-based technology and powerful and flexible development tools, is very deserving of the Willy Award bestowed upon them." His comment would have been just as valid if he stopped right after he said "Firstwave eCRM is one of the few products I have reviewed". I counted them once. I think it was 17, or somewhere in that area. The more hype I see, the less trust I have that what is said is factual.firstwave.net
