Murphy taught me several fundys on Technical Analysis

one valuable lesson he taught was this
if you see some unclear signals, then move the timeframe out from daily to weekly
then look at the same chart data series
he always said to regard the longterm trend as the most powerful, and likely to continue in the face of confusion in the nearterm

likewise, regard the nearterm trend as next most powerful, and likely to continue in the face of confusion in the shorterm

so I conclude that the dollar will resume down, since its fundys are worsening by the week and month

and I conclude that the S&P will resume down, since production costs are rising

the shoeless illiterate sheeple will be surely shorn
hey, I am a poet, but a bad one

p.s. doesnt Murphy keep his trade reco's for subscribers?
