Does it matter (assuming that was the case)? She was a disgusting murderer, and deserves no sympathy. Her act did not fool anyone, and I am glad that then Gov. Bush did not cow to the leftist punks- who I might add were not concerned about her individually, but were concerned with defeating the death penalty. Fortunately, most Texans and most Americans agree that an eye for an eye is the best means to achieve justice-- not to reward murderers with commutations. You don't like it? Too bad. You're in the minority. The most important litmus test is that people like you mock the killing of unborn children who have no choice as being "a choice", yet you give scum bag murderers the benefit of the doubt.
