But it is an interesting idea. What gets defined as "pathological" is different, in every place and time. A variable, not a constant.


If you want to see a classic "Christian Warrior," watch the superb portrayal of Stonewall Jackson in the new movie, "Gods and Generals."

In spite of a few occasions of anger on his part, Christianity was invented by a pacifist. Islam by a Warrior. The "Warrior" is still there in Christianity, but is not the main thrust. But the key to peace in Christianity is "Render unto Caesar." That made "Separation of Church and State" possible, and has no counterpart in Islam.

Islam had no problem with this in early years. But the Fundamentalists are turning into one. The big problem they face is that if the Fundamentalists win one election, there are no more elections.
