YOu may not feel that France is obligated. That's fine.

But is it unreasonable for someone else to feel that way? That's a different question, isn't it?

I think France and Germany are obligated to support us. There is no doubt that the cooperation and change in tone seen during recent weeks by Saddam is a result of the clear and present threat of force the US has put at his door step. The French are being two faced. They want the benefits of the US force being imposed on Saddam (which has its limits) without accepting any responsibility for it being there.
