Jacob you are one of the brightest posters on SI and I very much admire your posts on stocks, companies, technology and the economy. However, on this issue, you have turned so far from reality that it is just no longer worth engaging with you. You are projecting your worst nightmare onto the world. You would do well to inform yourself about what the administration is really saying, it will save years off your heart.

The rehabilitation of McCarthy makes perfect sense, in the current political climate.


"Tailgunner Joe" was a bum, a liar, and a Drunk. He will not be rehabilitated. But he was used by the left to smear the whole "Anticommunist" movement of the 40s and 50s. Now that the truth is coming out as the Soviet and American records are released, this will not stand.
