This persecution, and their subsequent survival, has provided a great deal of evidence to support their claim as a “chosen” people. Just because Jews have suffered persecution for eons, that does not give them the right to persecute the Palestinian people. The line between self-defense and persecution is a fine one, and it is one that Jews should know better than anyone else. Yet it appears to be a line that is frequently crossed. That the Palestinians are stoically suffering persecution at the hands of the persecuted, is additional evidence to my mind, that they too are a “chosen” people. Considering this fact, they must be allowed to be guardians to their fair share of the Holy Land as soon as everyone can live in safety. IC
