JohnM,

I am not suggesting we help the Russions or Chinese. What I am saying is that silence is golden, and we will no longer speak out (as a Government) on Russian or Chinese responses to their insurgencies.

Do I agree with it - absolutely not. You are well aware of my opinion on Kosovo, but if 9/11 had occurred before the intervention by Nato - no one would have helped the Kosovars. We would have viewed Serbia as an ally (yuck).

John

"Revivalist Islam" appears to be the term they favor.

No skin off my nose to use it.

I never attended a revival meeting in the Bible Belt, but I don't see a nickle's worth of difference between "revivalism" and "fundamentalism."

"God said it, I believe it, and that's the end of it." I was arguing the theory of evolution with some creationists a day or two ago, I know the drill.

not all Islamist groups attacked us on 9-11,

But they are all going down, John. The President "preempted" you on this issue after 911, and it is not going to change. You will never like it, but you are going to have to live with it.
