Favorable interim verdict for Corvis in Ciena dispute Tuesday March 4, 6:58 pm ET COLUMBIA, Md., March 4 (Reuters) - Telecommunications equipment maker Corvis Corp. (NasdaqSC:CORV - News) said on Tuesday a jury reached an interim verdict favorable to the company in its patent infringement litigation with Ciena Corp. (NasdaqNM:CIEN - News), another telecom equipment maker. Corvis said its all-optical networking products were found by the jury in a case in the U.S. Federal District Court of Delaware to not infringe on two Ciena patents. Corvis said the jury did not reach a verdict on a third Ciena patent, related to the two other patents.
