The U.S. gives tens of Billions of Dollars to foreign governments in the form of aid. I'm well aware of that fact. That is certainly something we can be proud of. But, we are amoral when it comes to our business dealings. We have certainly done business with and supported some awful regimes over the years.

How about another 9-11 ? Is that a tolerable "cost" to you? How about you and your family dying from a vaccine-resistant strain of smallpox that Saddam has?

No, the last thing I want to see is another 9/11. I live in the New York area. But, I don't see our attacking Iraq and killing innocent Iraqis as a solution to the terrorism problem. If anything, it might incite more terrorism. We should keep Saddam under containment. Terrorists can find other ways of obtaining WMD. We need to try to stop them. Why wasn't Saddam's suppossed WMD's such a concern before 9/11 that we needed to invade? The WMD issue is being used as a cover to take over Iraq's oil. I'm not going to fall for the government's line of propaganda. Violence begets violence. I don't want to see our country in an offensive war for the first time in many years.

OBL's main gripe with the U.S. is the fact that we have troops in the holy land. You might laugh at that. But, how would Catholics feel if some arab contries had troops in the Vatican? It's a two-way street.
