Hi Jeff, According to Webster: Liberal..suitable for a freeman,not restricted to literal meaning;not strict interpretation of the bible;tolerant of views other than one's own;of democratic or republican forms of government as distinguished from monarchies;favoring reform or progress;specific,favoring political reforms tending toward democracy and personal freedom for the individual... there's more Pacifism...opposition to the use of force under any circumstances;refusal for reasons of conscience to participate in war or any military action.
