I'm wondering any 1x users have tried the speed meter on cnet?

I don't trust the speedmeter on CNET, esp with the sprint phones. CNET uses a jpg file for spped measurements, and as I'm sure you've noticed, Vision compresses all jpgs that get delivered to your laptop. Try the speed test on www.dslreports.com

Click "Our tools" on the left menu, and then use the "Speed Test" under java-based tools. THen you pick a test location.

It measures both upload and download speeds, and afterwards, you can compile and archive all test from the Vision domain for comparison. No one has reported speeds as high as 300 kbps.
