No, and that's why I only rarely trade 'em any more. I've gotten much more selective, I maybe trade 1 or 2 different positions a month now, tops.

Not really. But I mostly trade otm's. If a person sticks with deep itm's a lot of the volatility premium disappears so it's a lot like a straight stock play. I've only traded options for a year so I might not be a good example.

I feel your timing has to be even more precise than with stock trading (in any timeframe) and your trading self discipline has to be twice as strong.

It's more of a perfectionist's game for very sharp traders, IMO. That's why I'm only a dabbler. I might not be the brightest guy, but I'm smart enough to know many of my limitations.
