The time will come when we have proof but right now we dont!

well...while you are handing out flowers to murderers today.....

maybe your kids or grand kids will find out first hand with that "proof" you seem we don't have today.....

of course...then it will be too late.....

proof....so you believe a mass murderer who already has used chemical weapons before.....and you believe he doesn't have any now.....and he's not hiding them from inspectors he knows are looking for them.....you believe the inspectors who the iraqi's know are coming....

i got some ocean front property in montana to sell to you.....

Qs:How about colonization and changing several people's 'ways of life' however disagreeable their ways of life may have seemed to the colonizers ?

The problem is always the same..My way of living and outlook on life is better than yours..

like here let me show you..but if you choose to do it another way..then there-my way is getting challenged.

It is the outlook on life..it is the idea of wanting industrialization and modernity vs something else that is at the heart of conflict. Seems that way to me.

Some want the former. Some want the latter. Some just do not want to be told what to do and how to do it.

Some European dude told me that his people 'showed' the folks in a certain part of Africa HOW to use the land for improving their condition.

See I see no action of man as being selfless.

My question to him was, did they (the natives) ever invite or ask you to show them?

Or did you go there by yourself for trade, then pit one group against another, establish a presence and then showed how to use the land? (which ended up being beneficial inequitably to you can guess who).

Unless and until we can work with others but respect other viewpoints (and that goes for all..like the unfair stereotyping of Americans by foreigners and jealousy and envy of the comforts we have here), we will have these debates. And sadly conflicts too.
