The person who F*d up big time was pappa Bush for not completing the job when he had the chance, arab support for an invasion, UN support, and even arab troops. Now all of a sudden out the of blue, after all these years, when Hussein has not attacked anyone for 10 years, is tied up with inspections, and is a feeble shell militarily, we have a sudden desire to take himn out after the campaign to capture Bin Laden falls flat on its face. Sorry, does not add up. Baby Bush F*d up huge time trying to bribe everyone to get his way. $30B here $5B there, wining and dining Bulgaria, it all looks disgusting. Plagiarizing 10 year old documents for a report to the UN stinks. The administration after pulling all these stunts simply has no credibility. Bush promised a smoking gun at the SOTUA then several day later Powell report "there is no smoking gun". If this administration had simply come out with the facts and presented them instead of years old plagiarized reports, laughable satellite photos, ewtc, it would be more believable. I simply can not believe ANYTHING Bush says. He has revolving door on his key staff positions and is at odds with Greenspan who will not go along with the affordability of a war and tax cuts at the same time. So you can overlook all of that but I simply can not. We have far bigger threats than Iraq and are doing next to nothing about them. We should be spending $$$$ to track down Al Qaeda and Bin Laden, not this thug. An attack on Iraq will increase, not reduce terrorist activity IMO. I really believe Al Qaeda is laughing their collective asses off at the amt of money we are going to blow taking out Hussein. I believe thay want us to attack Iraq. Look at this administration trying to cozy up to Iran asking for help if Iraqis flee there. That is so so pathetic. We supplied chemical weapons to Hussein to fight Iraq. Rumsfeld (or was it Cheny) had his picture taken with Hussein. If Hussein did not invade Kuwait we would probably still be best buddies cause that is how stupid the US is. Our own CIA trained Bin Laden. We supplied chemical to Iraq. This whole sad state of affairs started because we did not mind our own business. Bin Laden's biggest gripe was we have troops on sacred Arab soil. Why are they there? We have no business with bases there. Germany or Japan either. It is time some of these countries defend themselves. If we did not train Bin Laden and we did not have troops where they did not belong, and we did not support corrupt leaders like the Shah of Iran, we would not be where we are today. Most of this nonsense happened because of meddling. The rest of it happened when we did not finish the job when we had the chance last time. I was very upset at pappa Bush for not finishing the joib when we had a mandate. There is no mandate now, nor is there a reason when there are far more pressing problems. M
