The public is NOW being told there will be a military occupation of 5 years and the Government will be headed by General Franks. We have also been told via CBS we expect to win without one soldier having to fire his gun. That the iraqi army will run to us with open arms dragging Saddam with them to have him executed. And that the citizens of Baghdad will throw flowers at us and fall to their knees in gratitude that we have come to rule them and show us Truth Justice and The American Way. And also this perfect plan will so impress the Middle East, they too will see the only way is Truth,Justice and the American way. The fundamentalist and moderate islamist will join hands and recognize all this bickering between Israel and Palestine is silly and there will be peace throughout the Middle East. The evident end of this will be the declaring Peace on Earth and the U.S. president will be declared the worlds savoir. This is how i read the comments coming from Washington DC and from Bushes ingratiating congratulatory speech on what a magnificent gift we are about to give to the Middle East. The propaganda machine is at maximum smarminess. I suppose the first part the Truth Justice and and The American way will be a rapid build out of WalMart stores and McDonald franchises(they need growth markets) and the taking control of the oil fields and have them pump as hard as they can to get gas down to 5 dollars a barrel(this another key aspect of Truth Justice and the American Way). My G-d is it possible we are on the verge of Utopia!!!??? Max
