I ASSUME the term " peaceniks " is meant to demean, Peacenik, in my definition, is someone who supports "peace at any cost", but is utterly unwilling to provide any alternative and viable method of achieving similar political results without the use of military force. Believe me.. if someone could show me where a bunch of hippies could flock to Baghdad, stuff daisies into the AK-47s of Saddam's republican guard, and cause them to immediately reveal all of their WMDs, I would be ELATED!!.. But this is a cruel world. A world full of people who have little regard for civilized behavior, or adhering to UN resolutions. Anyone who think we could have defeated the Japanese or Nazis by offering ourselves as "human shields" for them is plaining living in another world that bears little resemblance of this one. And the same applies here.. Saddam will do whatever he needs to do to remain in power as long as he can.. And hopefully, he'll cut a deal and become an exile. If not, he'll become a corpse. Hawk
