But if you make less than 30K and have 4 kids, you get everything for free.

You really do. Tax refunds (even though no taxes are paid in in the first place); Medicaid, providing great healthcare for free; food coupons & WIC vouchers; in many places, housing discounts.

The reality is that the poor who are willing to work the system can come out far better than many middle class families -- all tax free, I might add.

>With the way taxes and the housing market is in California, poverty level is somewhere around 150K/year for a family. But if you make less than 30K and have 4 kids, you get everything for free.

So you propose to allow the kids to starve, and really never have a chance to overcome their parents' failures?

Re <<Wow. What a novel idea.>>

No kidding. It amazes me how some liberals think they are entitled to my money because they are incompetent.

Get over it.....you'll find an expensive CPA to get you out of it.

With the way taxes and the housing market is in California, poverty level is somewhere around 150K/year for a family. But if you make less than 30K and have 4 kids, you get everything for free.

How much do you pay for property taxes......you have one of the lowest rates in the country. There are no free rides.
