Same Old Stuff. You can summarize it with these... Our opponents want America weakened and defeated and for America to no longer have the ability to dominate the world, whether it uses that capability or not. The majority of the voters in the US refuse to accept such limits. and from the website.... we're damned either way. If we refuse to deal with the world, we're accused of being isolationist. If we go out and become active, we're called Imperialists. This is the level to which the discourse has sunk. Create a false dichotomy, and pick a side. Reduce the complex to black and white, and champion the white. The people who already agree with you nod, dumbstruck, with very little attention paid to what you're really saying. What ever happened to critical thought? What ever happened to the basic premises of intellectual honesty, like justifying the premises on which your argument stands? This is classic. They should carve it on his headstone: This is, of course, a very high level view.... Honest to God, I laughed out loud. I could have wept, but laughing is much more fun. sr@whatawanker.com
