Evil is Evil, it is empirical, it cannot be argued.

Saddam Hussein and the regime he has created is Evil.

Chirac cannot have it both ways, he has chosen to stand with the Evil one instead of on the side of Good, how can this be....???

what is his motivation, how can one advocate Evil and what it stands for.........

is it more complicated than this......????

is Evil justified if one can profit from it......?????

A packed Commons then approved a government motion calling on Iraq to recognise it now had a "final opportunity" to disarm, by 434 votes to 124. Fifty-nine Labour MPs voted against the Government.

Hmmm.. I wish the Republicans could command 3-1 majorities when they pass votes...

I see this as a non-issue. It just means that Blair is definitely representing the conservatives on this issue and labor MPs felt they could dissent on the amendment without undermining Blair's ability to pass the resolution.

And the Amendment passed by almost 2-1.. Again.. a far higher marging than normally seen in US politics.
