I'm expecting everything to play out as is. Kinda like last September when everyone was saying it was the contrarian play of the year to go long in the markets because everybody assumes that the market goes down in that month. Well it did go down then...and I'm not going to bet against the obvious now.

Dollar up -- gold down.

But I think the difference this time is that the debt and the market valuations are still in the realm of fantasy. The feel good market move will be fleeting and I suspect it'll be perfectly safe to go long on gold within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Stock market looks like its setting up for a major dump regardless of what happens with the war imo.

Agree it may be time to start picking up some gold stocks here.
