As much of a villian as Saddam Huessein is, I think it is facinating to hear what he has to say. After all, the resolution of this current crises could hinge on what he has to say in an interview. What if he told Dan he was ready to pack it in and live the rest of his life in exile? I know he isn't talking that way, but it is important to try to guage what's going through his head. Stay ignorant if that's how you like to go through life.

What other kind of snake would give air time to the enemy just for a few rating points? I suggest you go home and sleep it off...

Perhaps someone like Ronald Reagan who supported and was allied with Saddam Huessein in the 1980s and said nothing as he gassed the kurds. Or, someone like Bob Dole who paid a personal visit to his friend the Butcher of Baghdad, Saddam Huessein, shortly before he invaded Kuwait.
