You bet I can short 'em! Muriel Seibert is the broker I use but I hear there are actually quite a few others who'll also let you do so. Market or limit trades up to 1,000 shares are $15 so the only glitch is the sub $1.00 stocks get a bit pricey commission wise but I rarely play those anyway. They usually have good inventory, but they sometimes hold orders a minute or two so I wouldn't recommend them for the serious daytrader. Gomez.com (if they're still up and running) can give you more info on the full spectrum of brokers to meet your specific needs

MEDI's valuation looks pretty rich to me. P/S around 10 for a company that needs to buy itself growth with pretty expensive acquisitions (Aviron) sounds expensive to me. Unless they hit a mother lode with Flumist the stock is far to expensive, IMO. i'd say that the intrinsic value of MEDI is no higher than BGEN, a company with comparable pipeline and revenues. This would imply a stock price of 20$ for MEDI.
