This is the first rally in SPX since 2/6 that occurred before fast sto hit 20 or lower per my Realtime IQ Charts 60-min scale(which differs from stockcharts scale). It rallied at 34 today.
And i see, how CURIOUSLY, that the rally commenced on yet another BAD BAD NEWS number(vbg).
O my, new homes sales missed by over 125,000 sales the consensus estimate. Gees it dropped by 15.1% from last month , that is a rally ho number for sure.
I guess the trader can now guess that the WORSE the number the better the rally.
Looking at chart back to 1990 i do not off-hand see a sharper % drop in one month all the back to where chart starts.(briefing.com chart)Max---- how are housing stocks doing today?
