Kurdish University Students are burning Turkish Flags. There is a photo on the front page of the New York Times. There will be a lot of civil unrest in Northern Iraq.

Why bother since your original topic was about how there was no history for fighting a terrorist war but now you know there is precedent and it is in our own American history. The age of the British and Roman empires are off topic and an obvious ploy to change the subject. The rest is La-La land speak.
