>I cite as other examples Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart, both of whom had extended periods during their lives where they appeared to be experimenting with homosexuality and made the choices they ultimately lived with.

Because they found that they were attracted to men as well as women; it's called bisexuality.

>There is no evidence to suggest that homosexuality can't be "learned", and I've seen a lot that it can be.

But it's not "learned"! People such as you describe are latent homosexuals. Perhaps they avoid acting on it because they're afraid of what society (like you) would think, but there's really nothing wrong with it, as long as one's responible (ie not having unprotected sex with a number of partners).

At some point, shortly after graduation, I moved on, but this group of guys began hanging out with the one homosexual. Long story short, out of a group of seven guys, four overnight became "homosexual". Plus one's brother.

You are small town, aren't you? I heard its catchy like a disease.
