Well, they were all friends beforehand, correct? Like people associate with like. I'm not gay, but though I've met many gay people in my lifetime, I have no gay friends. It's like my sociology teacher from high school used to say- if you put two people who do not know each other but are both children of abusive alcoholic parents, they will find each other.
