Lizzie, If I make a simple mistake and do not file somebody's claim within the Statute of Limitations, I should be excused from any liability because it was just a human error?

You trust politicians in Washington to be more fair than ordinary jurors? If the 250K cap were in place, her family would get nothing... their legal fees could easily amount to that much, and the insurance companies can stretch the litigation out as long as they want... and there is no cap on the amount they can spend.
