On-line polls are BS. All you have to do is delete cookies, and you can vote thousands of times if you want to. Technically all they would have to do is ask voters to enter a "distorted" word displayed in a small image, as is done on some sites when your login fails twice in a row. Of course people are so lazy nobody would vote if they had to do something as simple as type in a verification word while voting... but it would eliminate robots or whatever stuffing the ballots.
