He would have explained that Steven Dolley, the NCI Research Director, doesn't have a clue about Iraq's nuclear capability. See Steven thinks that Iraq is on target to have a nuke in less than a year and if he'd just asked mish he'd find out that simply isn't true. According to mish, they're about 5 years away. You understand that if Iraq were closer than that Blix would have blown the whistle by now. Or, maybe, the Iraqi's would have admitted it...you know, in the interest of fair play and rules and stuff. Well it sort of makes sense when you think about it that had "W" checked w/mish rather than trusted all those "eggsperts" and satellite photos and surveillance stuff we wouldn't have needed to send 200,000 troops. mish has apparently interviewed all the defectors and they "insist" that there is no bomb. Scouts honor. Moreover, mish wouldn't have served in the "stupid" wars(I don't think he ever said which ones were "smart") even if they had drafted him. In fact, the only position he would accept is if they'd let him call all the shots from his keyboard. See Wesmoreland was "stupid". Johnson was "stupid". Franks is "stupid". Powell is "stupid". "W" is "stupid". Heck, the last smart man in America is mish and he's a confirmed draft dodger. (We're in a hell of a mess.) Anyway here is the plan. Bin Ladin is the enemy. Get him first. Then al Qaeda is next. Get 'em. Wait four and a half years (well maybe 4 years and 9 months) and then ask old Saddam to kindly hand over his nearly completed bomb. Sounds logical to me. Do you suppose we have a budding SecDef here? He promises to never say "Old Europe" in the same sentence(Hey, Rumsfeld is "stupid" too). Well, I think that about sums it up. You got it now?
