Now you are taking very specific items and trying to form a general conclusion. Face it, 200 year old opinions have to be reality tested before being used, no matter what purpose they are being used for. That doesn't mean they are right, it doesn't mean they are wrong, it does mean that there is 200 years of history between when those first ideas were generated and when they are put into practice today.
