Well Greg

Before you go off in a supposed Victory over preterism...

I might also point out that not all preterists deny
a physical resurrection of the believer.

Even if you could prove that the scriptures "definately" teach a physical resurrection of all believers
( which you can not )
you have done nothing to the timing of the event
which is the main contention.

Just a little P.S. for you Greg....

John did not know Greg - but you do.

And you were talking about false apostles?

You need to settle down a little Greg

Other versions:

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if {1} he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we children of God, and what we shall be has not yet been manifested; we know that if it is manifested we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

New King James:

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Weymouth

1 John 3:2 Dear friends, we are now God’s children, but what we are to be in the future has not yet been fully revealed. We know that if Christ reappears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

I am not making this stuff up to suit my system Greg...

These are accepted translation of the Greek Text even if
it strikes at the heart of your "physical" resurrection theory.
