The falacy of your reasoning is to take two possibilities which have greatly unequal probabilities, and treat them as if they are equally likely

No apology here, The research made it clear that Saddam only had a theoretical possiblility of a bomb if all of his uranium was used under perfect conditions. The inspectors found the French supplied uranium in it's original containers with no evidence of attempted use.

Saddam has never been close to having a bomb, and so it is a falacy to play either/or as if there is some kind of equal chance that he has a bomb or not. The overwhelming evidence says NOT.
