Saddam is no fool and some poor Iraqi private will be sent out with some dental floss to dimantle one missile on Saturday morning. Iraq will proclaim a sudden love of disarmament and the UNSC will pat itself on the back for prevailing. Saddam has been playing divide and conquer at the UN for 20 years, he is a master at that game>>> story.news.yahoo.com >>>As U.N. Security Council members argued bitterly about whether to approve a war with Iraq, Baghdad said it agreed "in principle" to begin destroying its ballistic missiles in a letter to Blix, Iraq said it accepted "in principle" the destruction of the missiles. But it said Blix's decision was "unjust and did not take into cnsideration the scientific facts regarding the issue." "In order to establish a timetable and other technical and procedural criteria required for implementation, we suggest dispatching a technical team urgently for this purpose," the letter added>>>> And Saddam says................................................................ Yes by all means, let us do this properly . so send the inspectors back to Bagdad and we will get to work ASAP to set up a dis-assembly team to agree on the "Principles" and schedules for missile destruction 1. Since the guidance systems are the same as on legal missiles, there willl be no need to destroy them 2. Since the fuel is the same as used on legal missiles there is no need to destroy it, so set that aside also 3. Since the attachments to the launcher are also legal, no need to destroy those either 4. Since the thrust nozzles are the same except for the quantity so we will destroy only 20% of those. Since we only have one team to dis-assemble the complicated missiles, it will take about one week to prepare each one for destruction of the extra nozzles especially since we have to build storage facilities for the hazardous legal fuel. These special tanks can be Manufactured in France and barged to Iraq and could be available in about three weeks after the UN has reviewed and agreed to these principles , and we can them get started on the actual destruction of the illegal missiles which would only require about 23 weeks total. Our Iraqi teams will be happy to work with the selected Missle Destruction Team (MDT) inspectors. to prepare the necessary " Document Of Destruction Principles For Destruction Of Iraq Missiles" (DODPFDOIM) in Arabic and submit it to the UN for review no later than April 1 ,2003. And Mr Rumsfeld comments to Mr Blix...... " We could help with the missile destruction problem and shorten the period it takes to do the job. It is one thing we are very good at. Just give the General Myers the GPS coordinates of the storage facility" Sig
