'It IS a disgrace to corporate Canada that the opportunity was still there' Very well, agreed on that point .... i knew nothing of this centre until your mention got me googling it up just now ... don't know anyone involved with the Legion anymore, don't keep up with mainstream news, very rarely watch television, don't ever shop at Walmart .... so it's absolutely news to me, the centre will probably get a hundred loonies from me straightaway and i'll mention it to others - junobeach.org 'no discredit' - mmm ... it was cynically opportunistic, and grossly inappropriate ... engaged as they are in the pursuit of sucking money out of this country while they lower the wages and overall quality, they would do better to leave our history the fuck alone and not try to rub themselves in it .... and i have to question the judgment of anybody who accepted such money from them - if and when we decide we want some building for such a purpose, we can and should build the g.d. thing ourselves There was spine to this country once, and that's why we still have a country ... i see stuff like this, and i wonder how long we'll have it
