You can always return title of your holdings to them. Sure they got a bum deal, but nothing happened to them that they didn't inflict on somebody else somewhere along the line. YOu would have to go back a very long time to find a people who weren't displaced by a stronger, more advanced, and more aggressive society. Besides, you know very well that I was referring to the Louisiana Purchase, the Gadsen Purchase, the settlement of the Oregon Territory, Alaska, and probably some others. Those lands had already been conquered and we bought them from the conquerors.
